With
over 21 years experience as a real estate broker and REALTOR®, including
years in Virginia and New Mexico, I am well qualified to provide services
to Buyers and Sellers. My experience in Roanoke and Santa Fe was as a
relocation professional, assisting singles, families and corporations
with their relocation needs. In counseling transferees, I developed a
sensitivity to the needs of those moving from one area to another. Settling
into a new area is not just about buying a new home; it is about lifestyle
adjustments as well.
Like other brokers in this market, I may work with both Buyers and Sellers,
but may not represent both in the same transaction. To learn more about
agency relationships in Colorado, please visit my Agency
Relationships page.
For Buyers, I provide information to help in making informed decisions.
This includes comparisons of recent real estate sales, market history,
and a community overview. I am able to provide land listings and links
to other property sites, and to assist with the purchase of the homes
and land currently available through other area brokers. Although several
other brokers are not members of the Multiple Listing Service, we do have
cooperative working relationships. I also research “For Sale By
Owner” properties and can share photos by email.
For Sellers, I prepare a thorough market analysis, including recent real
estate sales and competing properties. Listings are marketed on this website,
on REALTOR.com, the SLV Board Internet Data Exchange, and in the Crestone
Eagle, the local Crestone newspaper. Feature sheets and lot lists are distributed to other brokers
and Buyers.
By working from my home, and primarily on an appointment basis, I feel
that I can devote more time and attention to those who choose to work
with me. As a long-time REALTOR®, I am committed to the REALTOR’S®
Code of Ethics, and my intention is to work with integrity at all times.
Holding real estate licenses in three different states has given me a
broad perspective and deep understanding of contracts and agency issues,
as well as respect for different local practices. With degrees in math
and counseling, I pay attention to details, stay organized, follow through
on my commitments, and I genuinely care about those I serve.
My personal philosophy is that everyone has a special place on the “grid,”
and if your place is here, part of my job is to help you find it!
HEALING, TEACHING AND LODGING
Like many
in the Crestone and Baca Grande area, I “wear several hats.”
In addition to real estate, my service offerings include energy healing,
teaching and lodging.
